Mission
The mission of the Gayla & John DeHart Family Foundation is to spread love through our support of innovative, wholistic, practical solution-focused approaches to the issues we care about, including- but not limited to- women in sports, mentorship and education, health care, women’s issues, children’s issues and the environment.
We Proudly Support:
Big Sisters BC Lower Mainland
Studies show that mentoring works. Big Sisters serves at risk girls ages 7-17 to match them with a big sister or study buddy. These friendships are proven to make positive differences in young girls’ lives.
Bruce DeHart Bursary
Community Futures, Okanagan, founded by Bruce DeHart, provides one promising student with an annual scholarship for the business program at Okanagan College in honour of Bruce DeHart’s contribution to communities around the world. The DeHart Education and Poverty Relief Foundation supplements this bursary annually.
Forum for Women Entrepreneurs
Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) educates, mentors and connects women entrepreneurs to be wildly successful, promoting strong economies and thriving communities
